Her boyfriend, Felix, was an alt-right online conspiracy theorist with thousands of followers. And for as long as they'd been together, she'd had no idea.
She wasn't exactly shocked. She'd spent enough time online, swallowed up in a world of catfishing and irony poisoning, that she felt somehow inured to discovering she didn't know who she was dating. Still, with nowhere else to be, she decides to flee to Berlin, and embark on her own cycle of manipulation in the deceptive spaces of her daily life, from dating apps to expat social events, exposing an IRL world shaped by online lies.
