The Last Man

Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley (1797 - 1851) was an English novelist, dramatist, and short story writer, universally known for her Gothic novel "Frankenstein: or, The Modern Prometheus". "The Last Man" is an apocalyptic sci-fi novel that tells the story about the world of the future, almost destroyed by the plage. The plot revolves around Lionel Verney, the orphan son of an impoverished nobleman, and his adventures before and after the collapse.
